In His Own Words:
By 4th grade student Joseph Geisbauer
NHCA 4th grade student and distance learner, Joseph Geisbauer, at work in his “home classroom.”
One thing I get to do is sleep in longer. I can do my homework throughout the day. If I need help, I have to wait longer for when my mom, dad or brother can help. Being at home is cool because I also see my cat and dog all day. I get to eat when I want and I get to go to the bathroom when I want. When I am at home I don’t get sick as often and don’t worry as much about it.
The saddest thing is that I miss my teacher and friends. I also miss playing football at recess with Mr. T. I miss art, PE, music and library. I also miss the team events with the different grades. It’s harder because if I don’t understand something it takes me longer since the teacher is not there. I wish and want to go back to school but I am worried about this virus. We need to keep praying about the virus and those who caught it.
